Manned Security Guarding

We are not just another Manned Security Guarding Company. JSL stand alone at the forefront of local industry and commerce for the provision of licensed, highly trained, screened (to BS7858) and selected security officers. We offer a 24 /7 manned control centre, local supervision and rapid deployment.

Mobile Patrols

Security Officers, operating from liveried, fully equipped security vehicles could visit your premises and carry out either external or internal mobile patrols checking the entire site/building or specific areas of concern. Regular and varied visits not only deter vandalism and would-be criminals, but counter the threat of damage to your property from fire, flood or accident.

School Watch

This service is designed to provide mobile security cover to nurseries, schools and colleges outside of working hours and during the holidays. Buildings of this nature are increasingly being targeted by vandals, petty thieves and other undesirables. Working in partnership our local education authorities, this scheme has been shown to actively decrease crime levels and is designed to protect schools outside operational hours and during holidays.

Business Watch

This service provides shared security to a group of businesses that fall within a defined area such as a business parks, industrial estates or retail parks. The Business Watch initiative has been proven to significantly reduce crime such as vandalism and burglary in the areas where it operates.

Remote Surveillance

This type of monitoring makes your security investment go further by minimising costs and maximising the protection of people, property and assets. It gives you all the benefits of 24/7 protection without the need for a permanently manned site presence.

Security Dogs & Dog Handlers

Trained handlers and guard dogs, each registered individually with the National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU), observing the Home Office Code of Practice are supplied in accordance with the Guard Dog Act 1975, to provide a highly skilled addition to the security of certain high risk and vulnerable sites.

Banksman Ganger

Fully trained individuals provided to deal with the directing of both traffic and mobile plant/machinery on a construction site, holding an indepth understanding of the risks involved and being able to carry out their role with confidence.

Facilities Management & Property Maintenance

As well as the extensive property maintenance/cleaning services provided, this division offers a 24hr Rapid Response service and can cater for just the one window board up to the emergency security boarding of an entire building.

Throughout Edinburgh & the Lothians we provide this service to residential, commercial and industrial properties. If required JSL can arrange for manned security guarding presence to remain on site, overnight. Additionally if the property has suffered from a burglary or criminal damage, we can repair/replace door frames and replace locks on site.
